15 year-old Desmond Napoles is a multi-awarded LGBTQ advocate, outspoken gay teen, genderfluid editorial and runway model, motivational public speaker, performer, designer, actor, singer, LGBTQ influencer, host, and published author.
Desmond is Amazing is also the founder of their own online communities for LGBTQ and gender variant youth, teens and their allies, the Haus of Amazing and Haus of Amazing Junior as well as the Haus of Darlings, a supportive group for parents, guardians, educators, and supporters of LGBTQ, gender non-conforming and gender creative youth. They have walked the runways at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) for several designers including Gypsy Sport, The Blonds x Disney Villains, Nicopanda's MAC Cosmetics collaboration with Macy's, Daniel Chimowitz, Dope Tavio, PimComedy, Adrian Alicea, Rebirth Garments, and MRHUA MRSHUA. Desmond is a host on Heatherette designer Richie Rich's makeup metaverse, BTYKWN.com. In April 2022, Desmond launched their own clothing brand, Be Amazing NYC.
They live in New York City with their parents (Mom and Dad) and their family pets that include a cat and parrots. Hobbies include playing video games, graphic design, experimenting with makeup, creating content to share with their fans, visiting amusement parks, hand drawing maps, studying trains, fashion design, website design and hiking. Desmond is dedicated to local community service including participating in the Teen Activist Program at the New York Civil Liberties Union and the New York Public Library's Teen Volunteer program. Desmond's favorite subject in school is English language studies. After high school, they would like to attend the London College of Fashion, a constituent college of the University of the Arts London. In the future, Desmond has plans to develop a gender-free streetwear brand inspired by youth and the LGBTQ+ community called Amazeomatic as well as create a print magazine for LGBTQ+ teens and young adults called Amaze For Days Magazine. They would also like to pursue a career as a train conductor or engineer one day.
